Stress is not a good this

Hello classmates and friends, this week i am discussing stress. Why you ask? Well i am a 5th term student at Kaplan and time management has always been my closest friend. I put a strong value on my time when it comes to my classes and study times. This year with my daughter being a senior there is allot of things that just have to be done. I am also launching a new business for added income which is working out great so far. here is the website if you would like to check me out....www.kathecote.scentsy.us/home.I am as well a JROTC mom to my daughter Army JROTC program and have been asked to start a booster club for the kids. There simply amazing. Which as you can see I am very proud of as well. Ia m volunteering at the school to do what ever is needed this year as i have done through out all the year my daughter has been in school. With all of this said i have found that time management is not working any more i need to get more hours in the days. OH and less i not forget we had a storm that took out power to my area for a few days.I am open to any suggestions of how i could make everything important. I love to stay busy and i have really got that covered. lol Have a great week and a blessed day.

  1. Hi Kathe, I am with you on the stress and time management is very important. You sound like a very busy mom and your doing a great deal of work at your daughters school, which is awesome. I was told by one of my first professors that sometime you have to say no and not feel bad about saying no. I feel the with myself I make it a point to do a little work everyday and do my best to stay on top of what I need to get done. If I don't do that then I find myself getting behind. I hope this helps and stay positive! I think everything we do is important we just have to put things in order from the top and work down to the less important things, then start working. I really enjoyed reading about you and hope things work out for you. Have a great week and look forward to reading more! Great job!!

  2. Nice post, Kathe! Sounds like you are busy and loving it. I always loved helping out with the scouts and the church choir and school programs for the kids. Don't forget to take time for yourself! You are no good to them if you are worn out. I look forward to seeing your work site. :)

  3. Hey Kathleen,

The first thing you need to do is take a deep breath. Ok? Now, sit down and make a schedule and a to do list. Do not forget to prioritize what is most important, and when you do, do not forget about you, Kathleen. Nothing is more important than you. Remember when you are making your schedule to allow time for life to happen. Things pop up that you will have no control over. Next, learn to say NO and mean it. When you are pressed for time, and there is something someone wants you to do and you just cannot, say no and own that no. I hope this helps. This what I had to do when I got so behind in my first term at school. And guess what? I survived and did my best. That is all you can do. Good luck.

  4. Hey Kathleen,
I can understand your stress and just forgetting how to spell your name sometimes happens to me. The best stress buster for me is a hot bath and some nature cd sounds. Sometimes I light a candle and just relax with a hot rag on my eyes wondering how I got through another crazy day with my three year old screaming and getting into thing. However when scheduling your class and other things to be done do not forget me time for you.
    Good luck,
